Why the name?

Simply – Zephaniah 3:17 is one of my favourite verses. I say one of my favourites because many fall into that category! But this one keeps causing me to stop and wonder.

“The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.”

(PS you can find more here in a sermon on the verse)

Thank you for bringing Zephaniah 3:17 forward again. I love and quote that often when encouraging brothers and sisters. I'm not a pastor, but am an elder in Webster, NY, Webster Christian Reformed Church. Years later a family (even a pastor) will mention how that verse struck them so that it is now a repetoire of verses they recall as needed. And who doesn't need it.

I came to your sight after an extensive search for the Loughridge "My King" speech. Thanks for sharing it.
